In my courses you will find people who are in the middle of their working lives: they take responsibility, work with colleagues from different countries, and need to communicate reliably in German in everyday situations.

You do not need artificial textbook dialogues about a boat trip on Lake Constance or about waste separation, but language that works in everyday life: in coordination, short updates, emails, reports, and conversations with supervisors or customers. That is exactly where I start. We take typical situations from your environment and make them manageable in language – clear, structured, and step by step.

Technical background, a clear view of language

My name is Ferenc Andrási. I am a native speaker of German with technical training (Höhere technische Lehranstalt), solid linguistic expertise, and many years of experience in adult education as a German trainer. This means I understand both technical and organisational processes as well as the typical language pitfalls that cost time and confidence in everyday work.

In my lessons I combine this experience with a calm, practice-oriented approach: we work with real examples, recurring sentence patterns, and clearly explained structures. Grammar is not an end in itself, but a tool that enables you to express content precisely and politely – at work as well as in private life.

In addition to German, I learned English and Latin early on; since moving to Hungary, I am also actively learning Hungarian. I know from my own experience what it is like to have to function in a foreign language. When I am not teaching, I enjoy cooking, travelling by train, hiking, or meeting friends for a beer – many of these topics later come up in class and make learning more personal and tangible.

Between practice and personal learning experience

I have been living in Hungary for several years and am learning Hungarian myself. This is why I know what it is like to have to rely on a language in everyday life and at work that you do not yet fully command – and despite professional expertise, to sometimes struggle to express yourself. At the same time, over many years I have taught people who need to communicate reliably in German in their jobs.

This dual perspective – as a learner abroad and as a trainer – shapes my work. I do not work with abstract models, but with what has proven effective in practice: clear structures, understandable explanations, and materials that can be used directly in everyday life. This is how courses are created that are professionally sound while also taking the learners’ reality seriously.

Foundations of my course concepts

At the start of every collaboration, we clearly define what German is needed for in the respective environment: Which activities are linguistically demanding? Which texts and conversations occur regularly? What responsibilities do participants have today, and which are planned for the future? On this basis, we develop training that fits your company, the group’s language level, and realistic time constraints.

In lessons I work with clearly structured patterns and phrasing that can be used directly in everyday working life. In addition, there are carefully selected exercises in which typical communication situations are practised systematically. The goal is a resilient linguistic foundation that your employees – or you personally – can draw on even under time pressure.
